BE A SOUL WINNER
Text: Mark 6:7-11 and Mark 16:15-16.
The kingdom of darkness is being populated daily, while the kingdom of God is being depopulated daily. How many souls will God record into your account for this year? Souls are dying around you daily. Some are your next door neighbours, your colleagues at work, your family members, some in your street, village, state, country e.t.c. So, what are you doing about it?
In Romans 1:16 Paul says; For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. And also in 1 Corinthians 9:16 Paul says; For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of; for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel.
In Mark 6:7-11, Jesus called unto Him the twelve disciples, and began to send them forth two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits. And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse; But be shod with sandals and not put on two coats. Therefore, it’s not too late as long as you are still alive, rise up go out there and spread the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ because in heaven, you will not be rewarded for your biological children but for the souls you won to the kingdom of God.
The commandment of winning souls is for every born again child of God because you are saved, to save others. There is no exemption for pastors, bishops, teachers, prophets, apostles e.t.c. If you only stand on the pulpit of your church waiting for others to bring people in, you have not started until you also go out there to win souls for the kingdom of God.
Isaiah 52:7 says; How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that published peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, thy God reigneth. You don’t wait to be called evangelist before evangelism because Paul told Timothy to do the work of an evangelist even though he was ordained as a bishop 2 Timothy 4:5 and verses 22..
Mark 16:15-16 says; Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Therefore, our duty as Believers is to go out and spread the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ whether people believe or not. Make sure that no blood is required from your hands.
Proverbs 11:30 says; The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
Prayer: Oh God, kindle the fire of soul winning into my heart from now on and take away shame from me and give me the boldness of soul winning, in Jesus name.
