Topic: Empty Yourself.
Text: Psalms 23:1-6.
The only way you can succeed in this 2021, is to empty yourself. Meaning forget whatever you think that you know and allow the leadership of the holy spirit in your life.
John 16:13 said; Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth; for he shall not speak of himself; but whosever he shall hear, that shall he speak; and he will show you things to come. This cannot happen in your life unless you stop dragging leadership with your maker.
Isaiah 45:9-10 says; Woe unto him that striveth with his maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, what makest thou? Or thy work, He hath no hands? Woe unto him that saith unto his father, what begettest thou? or to the woman, what hast thou brought forth? For you not to be going round in circles yearly, you must wait, listen and obey the word of God.
Proverbs 3:5-7 says; Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.
Be not wise in thy own eyes; fear the Lord, and depart from evil. Holy spirit can not lead, guide and protect you unless you surrender completely.
John 12:24 says: Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone; but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
Psalms 23:1-6 says: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name ‘s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadows of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
The work of a shepherd, is to instruct, direct and rebuke. So, be ready to obey the word of God in 2021 because if you do, then you shall have good success. Therefore, I welcome you to my year of being SPIRITUALLY MINDED. Romans 8:6. Prayer: Oh God, be my shepherd in this 2021 and help me to summit completely to your leadership in my life, in Jesus name.
