Topic: Foundation Matters Part 1

Text: 1 Corinthians 3:6-11

Foundation is very important in whatever you do in life whether marriage, ministry, business, career, family, job e.t.c. We have two types of foundations, solid and not solid foundation, truth and false foundation. It depends on the one you decide to go with. The reason why many people fail before the end of January in their new year resolution, after promising not to do bad habits, is because their foundation is not solid.
Psalms 11:3  says: If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
So, in this 2021, be careful on the type of foundation you are going to build upon for many have builded upon false foundations, which became a thorn in their flesh because there is nothing hidden, that can not be revealed. (Luke 8:17)  It’s just a matter of time.

1 Corinthians 3:6-11 says: I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building. According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Therefore, try to make a good choice as we are still in the early stage of 2021.

Prayer: Oh God, help me to build on right foundations so as to get a good result in this year, in Jesus name.

Bible reading for the day. 1 Corinthians 3:12-16.
