Topic: Knowledge Is Power Part 4

Text: 2 Kings 6:15-17

Paul says in 2 Timothy 1:12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day.
Job 19:25 says: For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth.
If you know who you are in Christ Jesus, you can not go to any prophet, prophetess or native doctor who calls themselves a pastor, about your future because your life is in God’s hand.
Jeremiah 1:5 says: Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctify thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
So, as God knew Jeremiah, so He also knew you before you were born. Therefore, settle down and study your bible which is the manual of your life.
Psalms 119:130 says: The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
For example, 1 John 4:4 says: ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.
If you don’t know that God, Jesus and Holy Spirit are with, you could still be tormented by physical and spiritual enemies like the servant of the man of God.

2 Kings 6:15-17 says: And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?  And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.  And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
We could see here that until the spiritual eyes of the servant of Elisha were opened, even though his physical eyes were opened, he thought all was over for him and his master. So, when the enemy the Devil knows that you are ignorant of your rights in Christ Jesus, he will keep on harassing you.

Prayer: Oh God, take away every spiritual blindness from my eyes, in Jesus name.

Bible reading for the day. Psalms 119:18.
