Text: Colossians 3:1-4
Proverbs 1:17 said: Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird. A bird can not be in your front and you are spreading net on the ground for it to come and enter, that is a waste of time, because the bird has seen the net and can never enter. If you put a young child from the age of crawling or learning how to walk in the midst of many women including the child ‘s mother, no matter how all the women stretch their hands to the child, they will definitely go straight to their mother because, they know their mother. So it is for them that know their God, they can never be deceived by the devil. Colossians 3:1-4 says: If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Here the word of God says you are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. So, why are you now afraid that witches and wizards will be able to kill you? It’s because of ignorance. You’re supposed to know that no power can be able to kill God and bring Jesus out kill Him and bring you out to be killed.
Isaiah 54:17 said: No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
Luke 10:19 says: Behold I give unto you power to tread on serpent and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Philippians 2:9-11 says: Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Psalms 121:4 says: Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. Just know who you are in Christ Jesus, then resist the devil and he will flee.
Prayer: Thank you Jesus, for making me to know whom I am in the Lord, in Jesus name.
