Topic: Listen To Instruction Part 2
Text: Proverbs 19:20
There is an adage which says Look Before You Leap. E.g. if you want to jump, you must look carefully where you are jumping into so as to avoid injuries. Or you if want to board a bus or train, you must look carefully to the destination of the bus or train otherwise, you will end in an unknown destination. Many people are making mistakes while some have died without fulfilling their destiny or purpose in life because they failed to listen to instruction.
Leviticus 10:1-2 says: And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the Lord, which He commanded them not. And there went out fire from the Lord, and devoured them, and they died before the Lord. It was a strange fire because God did not ask them to do it at that time even though they were the sons of Aaron the priest.
Proverbs 19:20 says: Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.
The end of everything matters, if you don’t listen to instruction, you will be running round in a circle. May that not be your portion in this year, in Jesus name.
Prayer: Oh God, help me not to go ahead of you in this year but to walk after your steps, in Jesus name.
