Text: 2 Peter 2:1-6
When people hear about antichrist, what comes to their mind are those known fake prophet and prophetess. In fact, an antichrist is anyone who do not fully believe, preach or teach the word of God as it is written in the scriptures.
Luke 11:23 Jesus said: He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.
James 2:10 said: For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
Matthew 5:19-20 said: whosoever therefore shall break one of the least commandments and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say unto you, that except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Joshua 5:13 said: And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, art thou for us, or for our adversaries? Exodus 32:26 said: Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, who is on the Lord ‘s side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.
1 King 18:21 said: And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, how long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.
Joshua 24:15 said: And if it seems evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Deuteronomy 29:19 Moses said: I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life that both thou and thy seed may live.
A little compromise, is enough to send you to hell fire whether a holiness or non-holiness preacher or members because God is not a respecter of anyone.
2 Peter 2:1-6 says: But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. 4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; 5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly.
Therefore, if you have compromised the word of God in preaching, teaching or in an exultation, maybe because of your wife or your congregations, you are an antichrist and if you die in it without repentance, you will surely end up in hell fire.
Prayer: Oh God, in any way I have compromised your word please, forgive me as I repent today and I am ready to confess and restitute my ways, in Jesus name.
