Topic: The Wise And Unwise Part 3

Text: Ephesians 5:15-17

Proverbs 14:1 says: A wise woman buildeth her house; but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.
As you go into marriage as a woman, you must understand that no matter what the man had before you came in, that home becomes yours as well. Therefore, you must make every effort with your husband to make that house a home because, it is the desire of everyone, to have a happy home. A home where there is peace, well trained and cultured children. A home where God ‘s love radiates between the husband, wife and the children. A home where there is trust and self discipline. A foolish man or women always carries their family’s matters, to the outsider who has no positive solution to their home. Woman especially are helpmeets to the man in every area of the man’s life including the home because the woman is the pillar of the house.
The reason why there are many broken homes today is as a result of  matters that are surposed to be treated wisely, but left unattended e.g simply saying “I am sorry” or “forgive me” will go a long way. When Jesus is in the family, happy happy home but when Satan is in the family, trouble every day.

Ephesians 5:15-17 says: See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as a fools, but as wise. Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not Unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
So, whatever you do this year whether marriage, ministry, business, family, carrier job e.t.c be wise and don’t be foolish because, a foolish person does not mind destroying what they had built for many years. If you are denying yourselves of your body, or using your body as a weapon against each other, you are acting like a fool because gradually, your love for each other will be diminishing (1 Corinthians 7:5)
So women, try to understand that men are the head and summit yourself to him and men, play your part by providing, protecting and loving your wife.

Prayer: Oh God, help me to not be a fool, but to be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove, in Jesus name.

Bible reading for the day. Proverbs 31:10-31.
